I’m definitely getting some mojo back. This is an element from the Egypt kit from KitBash3D. And I’m trying out some more dramatic lighting. I noticed in my book The Art of The Last of Us someone wrote that they used direct lighting (street lights and fires at night rather than daylight ambient lighting) to ‘increase the tension’. Here I’ve just used a sun standing in for the moon, and a couple of spots on the dogs? jackals? whatever. Plus making sure they stand out against a dark background of course. It does make a more interesting shot.
